Define the area
Send photographs showing the seating, deck and proposed attachment points. The shape of the shade should follow the space rather than a standard size chosen first.
Permanent use or occasional setup
Explain how often the shade is fitted and who handles it. Storage, access and removal are useful details when agreeing the design.
Fabric and mounting are separate decisions
The proposal identifies the sewn work and its attachment arrangement. New supporting hardware or structural changes are not assumed to be part of a fabric order.
YOUR PROPOSAL
What shapes the scope and price
Span and anchoring
The shade size and available attachment points set the geometry. New supports or mounting work must be agreed explicitly.
Setup and stowage
Tensioning, access to fasteners and storage space influence the design as much as the shaded area.
What to send with your request
- The deck area you want shaded, including nearby structures.
- Existing poles, sockets and potential attachment points.
- When the shade will be deployed and how it will be stored.
Travel agreed for your project

Before we visit
Can you replace fabric on an existing awning?
We can review the current arrangement and fabric condition, then discuss a replacement fitted to it.
Do you need to see the boat?
Photographs start the discussion; measurements and the attachment layout are checked before fabrication.
