A mooring reference is not a boarding plan
The City of Marathon Marina manages Boot Key Harbor. If your boat is on a mooring, give the reference and explain how an authorized person will provide suitable boarding access. A meeting at a shore-side office alone does not establish access to the vessel.
Show what can be assessed without moving the boat
Send wide photographs of seating and cabins, then close-ups of the intended pieces. If removable cushions are ashore, label their positions on a layout photograph. Distinguish those loose items from backs, panels or shaped covers that depend on measurements at the vessel.
Include the handling of the finished pieces
Tell us about narrow cabin entrances, fixed surrounding furniture or other features visible in the route to the fitted area. Photographs can help explain the installation, but the accepted order determines the final measurement and handling plan. Do not dismantle fixed components just to simplify an initial inquiry.
Allow for a different return location
A cruising boat may leave Marathon during fabrication. Identify the proposed installation stop and whether the same person can arrange access there. The journeys, boarding and travel charges are agreed for the project; a regional coverage page does not establish a mooring-transfer or delivery service.

Before we visit
Does a Marathon mooring number provide enough information?
Include how boarding will be arranged and who can authorize access. The appointment must have a practical agreed route to the vessel as well as its mooring reference.
Can fitting happen after the boat leaves Boot Key Harbor?
Discuss the proposed destination and access before agreeing the order. A location change can affect the travel and installation plan and is not automatically included.
